The earth passed through the tail of Halley’s comet

Halley’s comet is the only short-period comet that is clearly visible to the naked eye

Halley’s comet is the most popular of comets. It rotates around the Sun with a period of 74 to 79 years in highly elliptical orbit. During the appearance of the comet in 1835 with the help of spectral analysis it was found that the composition of cometary atmospheres observed molecular bands of CYANOGEN, carbon monoxide and other compounds. So quickly spread rumors about poisoning the earth’s atmosphere hazardous to human health toxic cometary gases.

As predicted by astronomers, may 19, 1910 the Earth “collided” with the tail of Halley’s comet. However, even the most sensitive instruments have not detected any unusual phenomena in the Earth’s atmosphere, which could uniquely associate with this event. So the wave of fear that swept through many countries in may 1910, had under itself no soil.

After passing through the tail of Halley’s comet, the Earth appeared as a kind of probe. It should be noted that the Earth has been repeatedly passed through the tails of comets, and the effect was always the same – no influence on processes in the earth’s atmosphere substance of different tails of comets were not provided. Experiment on the preparation of the flight to Mars was a success

Another event of the week associated with the desire of people to fly: successfully completed a 500-day scientific experiment in preparation for the manned mission to Mars. However, the question whether there is life on Mars remains open. Studied, rather, the behavior of people on the way there and back. Sealed in March 2010, the capsule was opened and 6 members of the international crew went “free”.

They returned to Earth, as if really have been on another planet. A little confused and almost not reacting to the flash of Cameras, personalty trying to see through the crowd of family and friends.

Journey to Mars lasted 520 days. In a specially constructed pavilion, not looking up from the Ground, they flew to the Red planet. 1.5 years in seclusion were 6 people. Continue reading

Changes in the Solar system

The solar system is entering a new era

From the sun to the Earth

Let’s start with the Sun. According to astrophysicists, since 1901 the intensity of the magnetic field lights grew by 230 percent. Recently, media reported about a powerful polar auroras in areas where such phenomena are usually not observed.

By the way, remember that the impact of magnetic storms on human health are talking fifteen or twenty years ago, no more. Maybe the impact just wasn’t so noticeable…

On mercury were discovered in polar ice and a powerful magnetic field. On Venus in less than 40 years on two and a half thousand per cent increase in the brightness of the Aurora. Also, there have been significant global changes of the atmosphere. Over the past decade more than 200 per cent increase in the brightness of the cloud of plasma surrounding Jupiter.

On Saturn for the last 30 years there has been a significant decrease in the rate in the Equatorial flows. In addition, increased x-ray radiation coming from the planet’s equator. Continue reading
