According to the data sent to earth orbiting space telescope GALEX, astronomers have made the image of the Veil nebula in the ultraviolet range. The Veil nebula (W78, Sharpless 103), which is also known as the Loop nebula or nebula Fishing net, is a diffuse nebula in the constellation of Cygnus. Was opened on 5 September 1784 by astronomer William Herschel. Previously, astronomers believed that this huge and relatively faint supernova remnant that exploded about 5,000 to 8,000 years ago, is at a distance of about 2500 light years from Earth, however, studies that fulfilled the space telescope “Hubble”, showed that the nebula is much closer – at a distance of 1470 light years. However, it extends for a distance of about 90 light-years, taking in the sky region of 3 degrees. Astronomers have smashed the nebula into four parts: separation – nebula “witch’s broom” (NGC 6960). South-West side of the Pickering’s Triangle (NGC 6979), East side (NGC 6992), which represents the fibrous structure of the nebula and the North side (NGC 6995).
Astronomers have discovered in the nearby galaxy M95 supernova. The discovery was made on March 16, 2014, when astronomers, both professionals and Amateurs, noted a bright spot on the outskirts of a spiral galaxy with a jumper M95 (NGC 3351), which is at a distance of 38 million light-years away in the constellation of Leo. The origin of the solar system
The sun and the solar system was formed about 4.5 billion years ago. The solar system originated from a cloud, composed of gas and dust particles moving. Under the influence of its weight of it formed a disk in the center of which formed the Sun .
